About the Project
Courtyard by Marriott Pune Chakan was launching its very own section of Japanese cuisine in its menu to cater to the Japanese corporate dignitaries as well as other National and International corporate delegates. The idea behind this was to create a social media hype showcasing the specialty of the dishes prepared by the chefs at the hotel.
What was the Brief?
We were assigned one day of production in which we had to set up our entire equipment. The idea was to create a short but attractive video using only Japanese ingredients and props which should be visually appealing to the viewer and entice them to visit the hotel to try the Japanese delicacies themselves.
What Did we Deliver?
Our crew of 6 people which comprised of the Light boys, DOP, Focus Puller, Director, Assistant Director were graciously helped by some of the hotel staff as well to accomplish this shoot within a day’s time. We were given one room in which we had to set up and shoot each individual shot that was pre-designed on paper. The shots were designed in such a way that it should bring about a visual excitement and keep the viewers hooked to the video.
